All Cars

At the title screen hold Down-Right + L + R + C + Y, then press Start.
All Cars and Horses

At the screen that says Sega, hold Upper-Left + A + B + X + Z + Start. Don't release the buttons until you reach the menu where you choose Arcade or Saturn mode. Now choose Saturn mode, pick a course, and scroll to the left to reveal your new vehicles.
Different Views in Replay

Enter the Time Attack code. When you finish a race and replay it, press L or R to change views.
Driving on the Grass

Keep off the grass unless you're driving the pink car (manual), green car, or the horses. These vehicles can travel on grass as if it was paved.

Note: Please note that although you can drive on the grass fine with certain vehicles, if you stay on the grass too long, you will be transported back to the road at 0-MPH.

Extra Time
On the Beginner track, when driving towards the slot machine (it crosses over the track), press X to stop each wheel. If you get "777" perfectly centered, you will have extra time added to the clock.
Hidden Message

To see the Hidden message in the grass go to the Advanced track in Saturn or Arcade mode. After the checkpoint right after the tunnel there is a right turn,followed by the road going downhill. Right at the top of that hill,stop.Then if you start down slowly words will come into focus in the grass! Saying:\Sega\Am2\Sega\Am2!
Hidden Sign
On the "Advanced" track, from the starting line, turn your car around and drive up the ramp you will see on your right. At the top of the ramp in the back of the tunnel you will find a sign that reads: "CONGRATULATIONS. You Just Lost. Your Sponsors!"
Karaoke Mode
To view music lyrics, select ARCADE MODE, then set laps to "Normal" and hold Up while selecting a track with button C.
Make Jeffrey Pose
On the Expert course, drive up to the statue of Jeffrey, and stop in front of him. Press X rapidly so he turns, and stands on his head.
Maniac Mode
Looking for a challenge? If so, then wait for the SEGA logo to appear and then press Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, A, B, C. If done correctly, you should hear a chime and the letter 'M' will appear at the top left of the screen while playing.
Mirror Mode
To race the tracks in reverse, choose Saturn Mode, then go to the "Select Your Track" screen and hold Start on the track of your choice.
MPH to KPH
At the title screen, hold X + Y + Z on Controller Two, then press Start on the Controller One. On US versions the speedometer will change to kilometers per hour, while on Japanese versions of the game, the speedometer will change to miles per hour.
Music Selection
In the Options screen, set the controller type to "B". While selecting any track and car, press and hold A, X, Y or Z until you hear the music start.
No Tires in Demo
Begin a game and enter the pit. Before the new tires are on and while the old tires are off press A + B + C + Start to reset the game. Now let the demo run for an unusual sight.

Finish any race on any track. When you place your initials in, put in any of the intials below to hear music from some classic games.

Play as the Horse

In the Options screen, set the difficulty to normal and choose "Saturn" on the Mode Select screen. If you place first in every track and difficulty you can race on a horse. After doing this you can get a baby horse to follow you by placing first on the beginner course in Endurance mode. You must use the horse to do this.

To see the horse in Demo Mode, press A + B + C + Start while you're riding him.

Reveal Lead Car
At any point in the race, hold Z to reveal the next car you need to pass.
Rocket Start
While at the starting grid of the Advanced or Expert courses, hold B (brake). Now press and hold C (accelerate). While accelerating, keeping you RPMs between 6500 and 7000. When the race starts let go of the break but keep holding the accelerator. Get ready to fly by your opponents.
Shorcut on Expert Track

Looking for a short cut on the expert track? Choose Saturn mode and choose the green car, pink car, or horse. While racing, look for a large hill beside a mountain (a little bit after the area the horses are running.) Gain as much speed as possible, then race up the hill. Be sure to slow down again to take that sharp turn.

When driving on the seventh track use the pit road to overtake the other car faster than using the normal track.
Silent Engine

To make your engine quiet in Beginner Course, after the man is finished saying "start your engines", hold C until about 2 seconds after you see your car, then you'll have a quiet engine. To get it back, press pause then unpause, and your engine will make noise again.
Time Attack
Choose Saturn Mode, then go to the Select Your Track screen and hold Start on the car of your choice. You will now be able to race in a special mode with no opponents. Try to get the best time.
View Credits
During the victory lap of a first place run, press Start to see the list of credits.
