Virtual Cop 1
- Keep Cross-hairs On-screen

- Start the game with the regular control pad and go through to the beginning of the game.
Pause the game and replace the control pad with your stunner. The cross-hairs will remain
on-screen at all times.
- Machine Gun at Beginner Level

- At the beginning of BEGINNER mode there will be a bad guy popping out of the door. First
kill him and shoot the door until it is straight. You will get a machine gun.
- Machine Gun at Expert Level

- In the expert level, just before you enter the room where you get the rifle you'll see
two paintings. Shoot them both until they're gone. You'll find a machine gun behind each
of them.
- More Time for Name Entry

- To gain more time on the name entry screen shoot the backspace button 20 times and your
time will refresh to 99 seconds.
- Ranking Mode

- When the Sega Logo appears on the screen, hold C and press Up, Down, Left,
Right.
- View Ending

- On the first stage, after the last enemy has appeared and before the boss appears hold B
+ X + Z on Controller Two. Keep them down until you beat the boss. You'll see the
ending after the boss dies.
- Weapon Select

- If you wait on the "Press Start" screen the display will fade to white. As
soon as the screen goes white, hold C and press Up, Down, Left, Right. You
should hear a gun shot. When the AM2 screen appears, hold C again and press Down,
Up, Right, Left, Up, Up, Left, Right. You should hear another gunshot. Highlight the
"Exit" option and press down to access the weapon select menu.
To change
weapons, pause the game while playing and shoot off-screen.
Virtual Cop 2
- Big Heads

- At the title screen, press Up, Down, Up, Down, A, X, B, Y, C, Z. If you did it
right, you'll hear a gun shot and the Big Heads option will be available. If this doesn't
work, playing the game 58 times will have the same effect.
- Character Select

- At the stage select screen use control pad to enter the following codes:
Rage
- Press X to select your starting stage
Smarty - Press Y to select your starting stage
Janet - Press Z to select your starting stage
Note: You can select the same cop in 2-player mode.
- Cursor Control

- This tip requires a 3D Control Pad. At the options screen, select "controller
setting." Now, switch to "O" mode on the controller and press A for
less speed, or C for more speed. Now, play the game, keeping the controller on
"O" mode. Use the analog thumb pad to guide the cursor. The cursor should be
move at the speed you selected.
- Fight End Boss

- When you select the stage you want, rapidly fire at the little arrow pointing the first
stage until time runs out. You should be fighting the end boss.
- Options Plus
from [email protected]
- After you beat the game go to the Options screen. A new option will grant you access to
Mirror mode and some bookkeeping functions.
- Random Mode
from [email protected]
- Go to the Options Plus screen and, using the control pad in port 2, select the option
above EXIT. Next press Down + Start on Controller 2. Now select Arcade and hold R,
wait a moment, then press Start. Don't release R until the game begins.
In
random mode, the enemies will appear from at random. They'll appear in their usual
locations but in different orders.
